Celia Hodes (Elizabeth Perkins)
Celia is Nancy’s neighbor, a manic, image- obsessed, manipulative housewife. She doesn’t have many friends because of her tendency to undertake disloyal and subversive actions against other people. She and Nancy started out as friends, but her attitude eventually caused strain in their relationship.

She agreed to let Nancy use her second home as a grow house but it was eventually found out by the police when a Agrestic encounters a fire and a fireman found the weeds in Celia’s home. She is eventually pressured to be an informer to the DEA against Nancy but Nancy saves her from the DEA agents. She then worked for Nancy at the sham maternity store and eventually began to deal marijuana.
Elizabeth Perkins plays the role of Celia. Elizabeth is from Queens, New York City and went to Goodman School of Drama. Her career breakthrough was co-starring with Tom Hanks in the film Big. She has also appeared in several films including He said, She Said, The Flintstones, Avalon, Miracle on 34th St., 28 Days, and The Ring 2. She was nominated in the Golden Globe Award and Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Weeds.
